Share a folder with a role,group,buddypress or individual

In the wordpress admin area, go to “folders” in the left nav.  Click “modify” on the folder you want to share, and you will see a bunch of checkboxes for sharing options.  Simply check the boxes by the folder you want to share for all the different roles you want to share them with.

You can also share a folder on the front end by clicking the permissions button a folder you own.
